Welcome to IDCM Forum (formerly IECM)
(International Design & Construction Management)
The IDCM (International Design and Construction Management ) Forum brings together professionals and practitioners from all corners of the globe to present current topics related to the worldwide practice of Architecture, Engineering and Construction Management. IDCM is conducted as a forum organized under a volunteer effort and supported by several international construction industry organizations and private companies. It was first organized after the 2004 Indian Ocean tsunami to share knowledge and information of new and western technologies, construction management processes, and concepts with the SE Asia Region.Attendees are provided with opportunities to enter the SE Asian market.
This year marks the 6th annual event intended to bring together design and construction management professionals to discuss and share the latest ideas and trends in the SE Asia and international arena. This year, Ministers from 5 countries (Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Thailand and Myanmar) will outline their upcoming infrastructure and capital improvement programs. They will also provide information on work opportunities for foreign consultants including Architects, Engineers, and Construction Managers

 | 2010 IDCM Forum facilitated the initiation of INTERNATIONAL CM DAY The first INTERNATIONAL CM DAY was celebrated worldwide on March 14, 2011 The establishment of an International CM Day is intended to allow each global community, CM practitioner, academia, or any related organization to promote and commemorate construction management in its own unique forum and in the best interests of the profession. The Second Monday in March of each year will be the "International Construction Management Day." |
